Young Blue Brazilians
Your help is required! Youngsters in Cowdenbeath and the surrounding area have recently organised their very own Cowdenbeath FC Junior Supporters Club which will be known as the Young Brazilian Supporters Club.
This is the first time in over 30 years that there has been a Supporters Club specifically geared for younger supporters. We are therefore calling for everyone in our local communities to give this venture their support and encouragement.
As a starter and as a bit of a fund raiser, a general knowledge quiz competition will be held at Wee Jimmies in Cowdenbeath on Friday 17 November, kick off 7.30pm. All funds raised from this event will go towards helping the Young Brazilian Suppporters Club as it establishes itself. Teams of 3-5 people are invited to enter with each team representing a local organisation which could be a club (e.g a Bowling Club), a local business or shop, a pub or hotel, local organisation (e.g. Rotary Club), etc. The Cowdenbeath Quiz Cup 2007 is at stake along with a cash prize. Entry fee is £2 per head per player in each team.
Teams wishing to enter should book their place by contacting David Allan, 41 Garvock Hill, Dunfermline, Fife, KY12 7UR (e-mail daallan6754@aol.com or phone 01383 724000
