David Bingham

Brian Welsh pulled of a major coup this afternoon when he signed Gretna forward David Bingham on loan until the end of the season.

‘Bingo' began his career with St. Johnstone before moving onto Forfar Athletic where he scored 44 goals in 99 appearances. His form earned the player a £100,000 move in 1995 to his home town club Dunfermline Athletic. He moved on from East End Park three years later and helped Livingston to rise through the divisions to the SPL. After a short spell at Inverness in 2003 Bingham signed for Gretna where his goals helped another club rise all the way to the SPL. In his time at Raydale Park Bingham scored an remarkable 30 goals from 57 appearances.
