John Dempster is another 2008 winter transfer window signing - signing from 3rd division side Stenhousemuir for a nominal fee.

The 25 year-old striker was Stenhousemuir's top scorer this season with 8 goals and was a fans favourite at Ochilview. The player only made the move to Ochilview last January from Cumnock Juniors but still managed to finish as the top scorer with 11 goals. Dempster previously had spells with St. Mirren and Stranraer.
