Brian Welsh beat off competition from a 2nd Division rival to sign Mark Ramsay from Dundonald Bluebell (October 2007) - initially on a loan deal until the end of December.

The attacking midfielder caught the attention of the Cowden scouts following some eye catching displays for Bluebell.

Ramsay (21) began his career with Falkirk and spent a loan spell with Berwick Rangers during Cowden's championship winning season. Following his departure from Falkirk Ramsay spen a year in the juniors with Dondonald.
