Show You Support for the Club Today!

Posted April 7, 2012

Today will see the Blue Brazil face second place Arbroath in a top of the table clash at Central Park. With five games to go, Cowden go into the game seven points clear of their Angus opponents as the two clubs battle it out for the prize of the Irn-Bru Second Division title and First Division football next season.

Colin Cameron and his side have had a magnificent season so far and lead the table despite having the lowest average home crowd in the division. Today's match is our 'Game of the Season' which deserves a big crowd as the top two go head to head in a game which will go a long way to decide who will be league champions come May. Our small but loyal fan base are the best in the country and follow the club home and away, but this Saturday we need everyone who has a love of Cowdenbeath Football Club and the local community to out and back the boys at Central Park in large numbers. There were 900 fans in the home section for the recent Scottish Cup tie with Hibernian so support for the Blue Brazil is there. We just need everyone to turn up on a more regular basis!

We urge our regular supporters to get as many people along to Central Park TODAY and help cheer the lads on. Your club needs you now, and individually and collectively we can make a difference.

A win today would mean we only need two points from the last four games to become league champions and make history!

Thanks for your continued and dedicated support. Without it, quite simply, there is no Cowdenbeath Football Club.

C'mon the Cowden!
