Berwick Rangers 1 Cowdenbeath 3

We continued our pre -season build up with a convincing win over Berwick on the 3G surface at Netherdale home of Gala Fairydean on Tuesday night. Jamie Stevenson opened the scoring after 14 minutes when he sent a low free kick past former Cowden keeper Youssef Bejaoui after McKenzie had been brought down just outside the box by Brydon. Four minutes from the break Stevenson doubled our advantage when he fired home from 30 yards and a minute after the break he completed his hat trick with an angled shot. Doug Bryson headed home a consolation for the Borderers 15 minutes from time.
