Hamilton Away - Preview

PostedJanuary 10, 2013

We are on the road once more on Saturday when we face Hamilton Accies at New Douglas Park with a 3 p.m. kick off.
Billy Reid’s side currently sit just above us in the league table on goal difference with both teams on 17 points although Hamilton have played two games less.
In the only previous game with Hamilton back on 25th August we ran out 1-0 winners at Central Park courtesy of a Kyle Miller goal.
We have now gone 14 games without a win in the Irn Bru First Division during which time we have had eight draws and six defeats.
Our latest draw, our fourth in succession was last Saturday against joint league leaders Morton at Central Park which ended 1-1 with new signing Liam Caddis opening the scoring on his debut.
Our away league record this season so far is
Played 9, Won 2, Drawn 3, Lost 4, Goals For 11, Goals Against 12, Points 9.
After a poor opening month, Accies have only lost once in their last six First Division games and currently sit in seventh place.
Their last defeat came at the Falkirk Stadium back on 24th November when Lewis Small grabbed an injury time winner for Falkirk.
Raith Rovers were the last away team to win at New Douglas Park on 27th October.
Accie’s home record so far this season is
Played 8, Won 2, Drawn 3, Lost 3, Goals For 8, Goals Against 9, Points 9.
On loan forward Stevie May is Accies top league scorer this season with five goals after arriving from St Johnstone in late August.
