A third successive draw saw us extened our home unbeaten home run to seven games thanks to an equaliser from on loan striker Craig Moore. The prolific Stevie May had given Accies the lead just after the half hour with his 12th league strike of the campaign.
However Uddingston based Moore grabbed a vital equaliser against his local club when he headed home a Scott Linton cross seven minutes from the break despite the best efforts of keeper Kevin Cuthbert to keep the ball out.
The draw keeps us in eight place in the Irn Bru First Division two points ahead of Dumbarton who went down 3-0 to Partick Thistle at Firhill and seven clear of bottom side Airdrie United who drew 3-3 with Dunfermline.
Our next game is on Saturday when we face Airdrie at Central Park with a 3 p.m. kick off.
Speaking after our third successive draw manager Colin Cameron said "It's very important that we pick up some wins in our remaining games." The gaffer continued "But it is another game in which we have comeback from being behind and showed great character."
