On Tuesday afternoon manager Colin Cameron completed the signing of midfielder Sean McAllister.
 

The 25 year old midfielder who was born in Bolton was in the Bolton Wanderers Academy as a youngster before switching to Sheffield Wednesday.

Sean spent four years as a member of the Owls first team squad and was voted as their ‘Young Player of the Year’ in season 2005/06.

During his time at Hillsborough he also had spells out on loan to both Mansfield Town and Bury.
 

In the summer of 2010 after being released by Sheffield Wednesday he moved to Shrewsbury Town and was part of the Shrews side who were League 2 runners up last season.

Despite helping the side to promotion he was released in the summer and after being on trial at Oxford United he eventually signed for fellow League 2 side Port Vale on a short term contract in November and was released by the Valiants in January.
