After back to back home defeats Jimmy Nicholl will be looking to continue our recent good away form when we visit New Douglas Park on Saturday afternoon, kick off 3 p.m.

 

This is our third meeting of the season with second place Accies with our last visit to Lanarkshire on 21st September resulting in a 1-0 win with Ziggy Gordon getting the only goal of the afternoon just after the break.

 

The return game at Central Park on 16th November was one of the most bizarre seen in recent memory.

 

Goals from Nat Wedderburn and Lewis Milne had us 2-0 up after 37 minutes but a mad five minute spell midway through the second half turned the game in Accies favour with Jesus Garcia Tena, Darrian MacKinnon and Gordon putting the Accies 3-2 up before Anthony Andreu added a fourth in injury time.

 

Recent signing Chris Kane goes straight into Nicholl’s squad while for Accies Jason Scotland, who was signed from Barnsley, received international clearance on Friday afternoon and could make his debut.

Cowden fans will be housed in the North Stand.

The Miners Mini Tours bus will leave Central Park at 1 p.m.
