New Fife Elite Football Academy Kicks Off
Posted August 14, 2014
This weekend will see the first ever games for the new Fife Elite Football Academy (FEFA) formed by the amalgamation of the Cowdenbeath , Dunfermline, Raith Rovers and East Fife Youth Academies.
A great deal of work has gone in behind the scenes to get ready for this opening weekend which will see the Fife Team competing in the SFA Elite Games Programme at U11, U12, U13, U14, U15 and U17. In addition, the SFA has granted permission for one season for additional teams at U14, U15 and U17 in the initiative level programe which is where all the Fife Teams competed previously. This is to allow the Academy to operate with a bigger squad to give players a full season to stake their claim to a squad place in the Elite Squad.
