Well it is to be a League One campaign that lies ahead for Cowdenbeath FC in 2015/16 but the firm desire at Central Park is very much to dust ourselves down and then seek to move forward once more. As many will be aware, last night (Thursday 7th) we had an open meeting at Central Park and there was a marvellous turn out of fans. It is of course clear that Cowdenbeath FC does face some real challenges and accordingly that it is vital that everyone with the club's interests at heart - Board, fans and community, work together in a ‘one big team’ manner.
The meeting itself was just the start. It certainly has served to potentially galvanise a wider fan involvement with a whole range of potential initiatives now being considered including a Supporters Council. Of these initiatives there will be more news soon and there will be ample opportunities for anyone wishing to be involved.
As a first practical step, the supporters of Cowdenbeath FC set season ticket prices for 2015/16 on behalf of the club. It was resoundingly agreed that these should be unchanged from last season with the aim being to provide a fillip to the club plus show the desire of the fans to play a major part in shaping the future of the club. The Supporters also endorsed a call for season tickets to be purchased as soon as possible to further demonstrate the degree of fan commitment.
We are therefore pleased to be able now to confirm Season Ticket prices for 2015/16.
Adult - £230
65 and over - £115
Age 13 to 16 - £60
Age 12 and under - £30
We are also delighted to be able to confirm the continuation of our Early Bird discount scheme which means that an Adult season ticket will be available at the discounted price of £210 if purchased before the end of June. 65 and over tickets too will be discounted to £105 until the end of June.
Season Tickets will therefore go on sale at Central Park at the follow up Supporters’ Meeting to be held at 7pm at Central Park, next Thursday 14 May. Please do come along to the meeting if you can and ideally also take the opportunity at the same time to secure your season ticket. After this launch event, tickets will be available for purchase at Central Park or online from our partners at Football Nation as in previous years.
