This Saturday see's us continue our Ladbrokes League Two fixtures when we meet Clyde at Broadwood Stadium with a 3 p.m. kick off.
Games at Broadwood have been few and far between for us since Clyde moved there back in 1994 and the only two league meetings both took place in our promotion winning season of 2009-10.
In November 2009 a Scott McBride penalty game us a 1-0 win and the following March goals from Gareth Wardlaw and John Dempster helped us to a 2-1 win with Dmitjtrijs Borisovs pulling back a goal for the home side.
Our only ever defeat in Cumbernauld came the following July when we went down 2-1 in a League Cup tie with Marc McCusker hitting a brace for the home side and Mark Ramsay pulling back a late goal for us.
Our last meeting in the former new town was also a League Cup tie in August 2014 when we won 2-1 thanks to goals from Lewis Milne and Kyle Miller after David Gray had given Clyde a half time lead.
After two games Clyde sit just a place and a point above us in the table with 4 points from their opening three games. The campaign opened with a 2-1 home win over Montrose with Dylan Easton and Matt Flynn scoring either side of Chris Templeman's leveller.
This was followed up by a 1-1 draw at Stirling with former Central Parker Sean Higgins opener being cancelled out by Ross Forsyth. Last Saturday however saw a 3-2 defeat at Annan with another former Cowden man David McKenna opening the scoring for the south west side while Peter MacDonald hit a brace for the Bully Wee.
