A Successful Appeal

In last Saturday's match at Elgin, Cowdenbeath's Chris Turner and Elgin City's Marc Nicolson were both cautioned following a clash midway through the second half. In addition, Cowdenbeath centre half Craig Sives was also cautioned in respect of this incident.

Cowdenbeath FC subsequently appealed against Craig's caution. Today at Hampden Park Craig Sives' caution was rescinded as Cowdenbeath's appeal was accepted by the Tribunal. The caution was over-turned on the basis of mistaken identity as Craig Sives had not been involved in said incident.
