MATCH PREVIEW - STIRLING ALBION (A)

Posted April 15, 2017

Following our last gasp draw against Edinburgh City last week we are on the road once more on Saturday when we face Stirling Albion at Forthbank Stadium with a 3 p.m. kick off.

The three previous encounters this season have seen each side win their away game, a trend which we hope will continue this weekend!

It will be a tough 90 minutes ahead however if we are to achieve that goal with Stirling being the current form side in the division with seven wins in their last eight games, which has propelled them onto the fringes of the last promotion play off spot and earned manager the division's manager of the month award for March.

Back in October goals from Isaac Layne and Darren Smith saw the Binos run out 2-0 winners at Central Park and last month they returned to record a similar score in what proved to be Liam Fox's last game in charge of the side with Ross Smith and Sean Dickson getting the goals.

In between those games we won 2-1 at Forthbank on Hogmanay with Kris Renton and Lewis Moore scoring either side of Dylan Bikey's equaliser. Bikey later joined Hearts after scoring nine goals in nine games during his short spell as an amateur signing but has recently returned on loan for the run in.

After missing last week's trip to Meadowbank both Scott Rumsby and Gerry McLaughlan return to the squad.
