Cox For Cowden

Cowden Manager Gary Bollan made another foray into the transfer market today and has secured the signature of David Cox of Forfar Athletic. David has been signed until the end of this season.

He has been with Forfar for the last 2 seasons and played in Gary Bollan's promotion winning side last season. David had also played for Gary at Airdrieonians. The 28 year old forward needs no introduction to Cowdenbeath fans as he has ably demonstrated his ability and drive in several matches against us over the years. David began his career in the Premier League with Kilmarnock in 2008 - he was later with both Annan Athletic and Peterhead for a number of seasons and also has played with Alloa and Montrose.

We are very pleased to have secured David following negotiations with Forfar Athletic and we give him a very warm welcome to Central Park as we move into the business end of season 2017/18.
