After our midweek draw at Ainslie Park with Edinburgh City we return to Central Park on Saturday for Elgin's second visit of the season before we face two successive away games at Stenhousemuir and Stirling in the week ahead.
Elgin have won two of our previous meetings this season 3-1 at Central Park and 1-0 at Borough Briggs following an opening day 1-1 draw in Elgin.
The draw on the opening day of the season saw David Syme open the scoring with what proved to be his fourth and final goal for us with Matthew Cooper leveling for City.
The return game at Central Park saw interim manager John Ovenstone in charge of a 3-1 defeat with Brian Cameron hitting a brace for the visitors, with his first coming from the penalty spot, with Thomas Reilly adding a third before Robbie Buchanan pulled a goal back for nine man Cowden who had Fraser Mullen and David Syme sent off in the second half.
The second game at Borough Briggs saw a late goal from Cameron Eadie deny us a point back in January.
After Tuesday nights 1-0 defeat from Clyde at Broadwood Elgin now find themselves four points behind Stenhousemuir in their quest for a promotion play off place.
Manager Gary Bollan will have a full squad for selection with the exception of Ryan Connelly.
