Blue Brazil Lottery

PostedMarch 23, 2020

The coronavirus crisis is now impacting on all our lives. For Cowdenbeath FC, like so many other local businesses, there is a very primary effect with football well and truly off the menu for the foreseeable future. Our efforts now are focused on our people, our community and in ensuring we preserve the club so that it can come through these troubled times.

The Blue Brazil Lottery remains a vital lifeline for the club and if you can continue to contribute or even are able to become a new subscriber then that would be a great help. We have many local pubs and other businesses and people who greatly assist Cowdenbeath FC by acting as lottery agents. Many of them too have now had to close until we see this pandemic through. We wish all our agents all the very best at this difficult time from everyone at Central Park and thank them for their very great support for Cowdenbeath FC.

Some existing weekly subscribers have now asked us what alternatives are available to allow them to continue to play our Lottery and we can highlight the following.

At this time, the following agents are still open and continue to accept entries for the lottery, namely :

Beath Bargain Store, 197 High Street, Cowdenbeath
The Munch Box, 27B Main Street, Crossgates

An ideal option for many though may be to switch to playing the lottery online. It is very easy to do at the undernoted website :

Next Friday’s jackpot (27 March 2020) has now reached 4,200 so don’t miss out – we are sure a Lottery win will provide a real lift for a lucky winner in these difficult days. 1 is enough to win it!

As an aside, we will perhaps have to review the normal booby prize system once we see how subscription levels are impacted.

Thank you for all your continued support and please keep safe. We are sure that our local community will rise to all the many challenges that lie ahead.
