Fife Football Association - Coronavirus Outbreak

The Fife Football Association has decided to take pragmatic action as regards season 2019/20. The current season’s Fife Cup competition has been suspended and it was agreed to waive holding the 2019/20 AGM scheduled for next month. Existing office bearers and club representatives will remain in situ for season 2020/21 unless any club nominates a new representative by 30 April 2020. Once the current Emergency Period is at an end a meeting will be held to consider how the Fife Cup will be resumed e.g. if season 2020/21 gets underway more or less on schedule perhaps amalgamate that year’s competition with this season’s and just play the remaining ties.

The Fife Football Association also elected to make a financial distribution from its reserves to all eight member clubs. Best wishes to all at this difficult time, in particular all those involved in the Fife football community.
