Fish & Chips And Many Thanks

Cowdenbeath FC are pleased to confirm that we have now been able to treat residents and staff at 5 of our local Care Homes – as previously announced this club initiative was designed to provide a small token of thanks and appreciation to some of our Local Heroes as well as to support some of the more vulnerable members of our local community.

Funding was provided by the directors and staff of Cowdenbeath FC plus their family members – all were delighted to ‘chip’ in! The 5 homes involved were Roselea Care Home, Abbotsford Care Home, Lindsay House and Craigie and Alexander Houses. Thanks too to the local Fish and Chip shops who played their own vital part by supplying these tea-time treats - Joes Food Bar; the Beath Fry; Bodrum Pizza, Kebab, Fish & Chips; and Jazs Takeaway.

And last but not least a very special thanks to those who helped with the deliveries – and made the fish and pudding supper deliveries such a pleasure for the residents and staff - Alex Haddow, Sean Sneddon (Bluebell the Coo) and Daniel Stennett our ‘ball boy piper’! We are indeed proud to belong to this community and send warmest wishes to all of you.
