MATCH PREVIEW – INVERNESS CT (A)

We play our third Betfred Cup game in a week when we face Inverness at the Caledonian Stadium.

Our opening games have seen a 2-0 defeat from East Fife and a narrow 1-0 loss to Hearts.

This will be only our second game at the Inverness stadium with the previous meeting being on 21st December 1996 when Iain Stewart hit a brace for the home side after Willie Stewart had opened the scoring just after the break.

We have met twice in the Betfred Cup - in 2016 we went down 2-1 at Central Park with Ross Draper and Gary Warren scoring either side of Dean Brett’s leveler. Two years ago we went down 5-2 at Central Park with Jordyn Sheerin hitting a brace for us. Tom Walsh and Aaron Colgan also hit braves for the Highlanders along with George Oakley.
