Saturday's emphatic win over Brechin City kept the Blue Brazil in the title race and we now face a must win game against league leaders Stirling Albion on Tuesday night at Central Park (kick off 7.45pm). Cowden require the three points in order to take it to the last game of the season while a win for Stirling Albion would clinch the championship for Allan Moore's team.
Cowden started the season as relegation favourites but the team has proved everyone wrong during a fantastic season that has already seen the club clinch a play-off place and still playing for the championship with two games remaining.
"I'm really looking forward to the game and it promises to be a cracker as both sides will be going all out for victory", said Danny Lennon.
"Stirling are firm favourites for the title with one victory needed from their last two games but that comes with its own pressure.
"From our point of view, no matter what happens it has been a fantastic season. We have hit form again at a good time and it is our aim to take it to the last game of the season and see if we can go that extra mile and win promotion - either as outright champions or via the play-offs."
Kenny Adamson returns to the squad after recovering from injury. Dene Droudge is out for the season with a knee injury while Craig Winter is available for this one but starts a two game suspension on Saturday.
