Auld Acquaintance 2

The Auld Acquaintance booklet issued in conjunction with the recent reunion event at Wee Jimmies was a great success. So much so, as promised a second booklet entitled Auld Acquaintance 2 has now been produced as a follow up which includes many pictures and information from the event itself. It will be on sale on Saturday at Central Park.

This again is a Limited-Edition publication and is priced at £4 (plus £2pp if required). For postal purchases, the best method to get your copies is by making a donation to Club 135 via the club’s website for the requisite amount. We can provide bank account details though on request if anyone wants to make a bank transfer to pay. Otherwise Facebook message or email the club. Any cheques should be made payable to Cowdenbeath Football Club.

In this latest publication, in similar style to the last volume, the 21st Century seasons are looked at with one article per year on a range of topics – as well as the actual reunion event. Articles include - Sing a Rainbow, Pitch Invaders, Parting Shots, Scorigami, Foreign Fields or Fifers, What might have been, Travellers Tales, Turn and Face the Strange, Cowden Citizens, Heroes & Villains, Play your cards right, Get Shirty and the Ones that got away.
