Ewan Is New Man For Cowden

The focus at Central Park is now very much on season 2023/24 and today Cowden manager Calum Elliot was pleased to unveil his latest signing at Central Park. Joining us is Cumbernauld Colts striker Ewan Macpherson (24). Ewan has been with the Cumbernauld side since 2020 and previously had stints with Kirkintilloch Rob Roy and East Kilbride. Prior to that he had first gone senior with Queen’s Park after progressing through the youth ranks at Hampden. Ewan of course is from a footballing family – he is the son of Gus Macpherson. Last season, Ewan was Cumbernauld Colts top scorer – his goal haul included the winner v Cowden at Broadwood!

Ewan shared his thoughts after signing – "I am delighted to join the club, just looking forward to getting started and the challenge ahead next season."

Cowdenbeath FC’s Football Operations Coordinator Colin Nelson said, "I’m equally delighted that Ewan has signed on for the season ahead. He was sought after by a few teams so to get him on board is great. We had been tracking Ewan since January and I'm sure he will be a huge asset to us on the pitch with his pace, tenacity and goals!"
