Dan Departs

The club recently received a bid from East Stirlingshire for Dan Watt. Following some discussions a transfer was agreed and Dan today joined the Shire.

Dan has been a highly popular character at Cowdenbeath and played a prominent role on the pitch. It has been a genuine pleasure to work with Dan at Central Park. With a new manager coming in there will be changes to our style of play and Dan was perhaps less likely to regularly feature in the starting line up.

Sadly that is the nature of football and of course the opportunity to move to East Stirlingshire then arose. In just a short time with us, Dan made a real impact and now leaves with all our very best wishes.
