Goodbye To Lovey

The club recently had a number of approaches from clubs seeking the transfer of Stuart Love. Various offers were then received. Following discussions, an offer from Hill of Beath Hawthorn has been accepted. Our neighbours of course have just appointed Stewart Kenny as their manager and he knows Lovey very well from their time together at Oakley United.

Stuart made a real impact in his season at Central Park - he was a universally popular player with our fans, his fellow players and club staff. He was very much a positive presence on and off the park. Lovey will be missed around the place but we warmly thank him for his efforts on behalf of the Club and wish him every success at Keir's Park.

After concluding the move, Lovey said, "I'd really like to pass on my grateful thanks to the chairman and the staff at Cowden as well as to all the fans, especially the Junction Bar lads. I really loved my time here at the club and wish everyone at Cowdenbeath all the very best."
