MATCH PREVIEW - EAST FIFE (A)

We continue our pre-season build up on Tuesday night when we face East Fife at MGM Timber Bayview Stadium on Tuesday night with a 7.30pm kick off


LAST TIME OUT

On Saturday afternoon we went down 3-2 to Stenhousemuir in a closed door game at Ochilview Park with Aiden McLauglin and Jamie Docherty getting our goals on a blustery afternoon.


THE OPPOSITION

Last season East Fife finished fourth in cinch League 2 before losing to Clyde in the Play-Off Semi-Finals.

So far they have played two games in the pre-season beating Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts 3-0 at Dalgetty Bay Sports Centre with goals from Nathan Austin, Jack Healy and Ryan Schiavone.

On Saturday they went down 3-2 to Championship side Dundee United with Austin and Mikey Cunningham getting the goals. Cunningham of course spent the second half of last season on loan to us scoring five times in 18 games.

Also in the East Fife squad is former keeper Allan Fleming, while Alfie Robinson who left us in the close season has been on trial with Greig McDonald’s side after playing in 29 games for us last season scoring once.
