MATCH PREVIEW - CELTIC B (A)

After the excitement of our Viaplay Cup campaign, we make a belated start to our Lowland League season when we face Celtic B at the Excelsior Stadium in Airdrie with a 3pm kick off this afternoon.


LAST TIME OUT

On Tuesday night a 94th minute goal denied us a third successive draw against a St Mirren side which had finished sixth in last season’s Premiership.

Kevin Smith, who was sent off on Tuesday, is eligible but will miss our next Viaplay Cup game whenever that is.


THE OPPOSITION

Celtic B have made a mixed start to their league campaign with a 1-0 defeat from Cumbernauld Colts at Broadwood Stadium last Saturday which was followed up by a 5-1 win over Caledonian Braves at the Excelsior on Tuesday night which leaves them in sixth place.
