MATCH PREVIEW - CIVIL SERVICE STROLLERS (H)

Posted August 5, 2023

It's our first home Lowland League game of the season as we welcome Civil Service Strollers to Central Park with a 3pm kick off.

We are still waiting for first league win over Strollers after Gary Jardine’s side won both games last season by a 2-1 score line.

New signing Adam MacDonald goes straight into the squad after becoming Calum Elliot’s 17th summer signing.

LAST TIME OUT

Last Saturday saw an opening day 2-2 draw with Celtic B at the Excelsior Stadium with us racing into an early two goal lead before the young Celts scored two late goals.

THE OPPOSITION

Strollers have had a mixed start to their league campaign starting with a 4-3 derby win over Edinburgh University at East Peffermill thanks to a last minute winner.

That was followed with a 3-2 home defeat from Hearts B after being down 3-0 at the break, while last Saturday they fought out a goalless 90 minutes with East Stirlingshire also at Christie Gillies Park.
