Cowdenbeath manager Calum Elliot today secured the loan signing of Motherwell’s young defender Robbie Garcia (17).

Robbie is a versatile defender and has worked his way up through the youth ranks at Fir Park. We are pleased to now have him with us and he goes straight into our squad for tomorrow’s match.

Warm thanks again go to Motherwell FC for agreeing to the loan transfer of Robbie until January.

Calum Elliot commented after completing the formalities, "I’m delighted Robbie has joined the club. He can play in a number of positions which will massively help us at the minute with the amount of injuries we have. We also look forward to helping him with his development and preparing him to return to Motherwell to break into their first team."
