Alloa Athletic 0 Cowdenbeath 2 (1-3)

Magnificent Cowden put in a big game performance to overpower Alloa Athletic 3-1on aggregate and join Brechin City in the First Division Play-Off Final.

The Blue Brazil controlled the game from start to finish and held their nerve to open the scoring after 59 minutes. Scott McBride picked out Gareth Wardlaw and the top scorer found David Crawford's bottom left corner.

The victory and aggregate win was sealed with 8 minutes remaining when Wardlaw set up Paul McQuade who cooly found the top corner from 12 yards.

The large traveling support celebrated in style at the final whistle and gave Danny Lennon and his men a standing ovation.

The next two games will decide whether Cowdenbeath or Brechin City will be competing in the 1st Division next season.
