We return to South Challenge Cup action and a Third Round tie with Whitehill Welfare which has a 3pm kick off.
LAST TIME OUT
Last Saturday we won 3-2 at Gretna with Jack Duncan scoring his first goal for us and Jamie Docherty hitting a brace to take his tally for the season to ten.
THE OPPOSITION
Whitehill are managed by Jack Lynch who had two spells with us in the 1990s. Onetime original members of the Lowland League a double relegation saw them fall to the EOS First Division where they sit in seventh place with 13 points from nine games.
In the league they have beaten Blackburn United (2-1), Kirkcaldy & Dysart (4-3), Lochore Welfare (2-0) and Vale of Leithen (4-0). They have lost to Rosyth (0-2), Whitburn (2-3), St Andrews United (2-6) and Dunipace (2-4) whilst their other league game saw a 2-2 draw with Leith Athletic.
In the Second Round of the Challenge Cup they had a 3-2 home win over Fauldhouse United. In the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup they beat Creetown in the Second Preliminary Round but lost 8-0 to East Kilbride in the First Round.
They also lost 2-1 to University of Stirling in the EOS Qualifying Cup.
