Mac2 For Cowden

Cowdenbeath boss Calum Elliot is continuing his focus on team-building and was very pleased today to secure the transfer of right back Greg MacPherson from Linlithgow Rose. Greg (27) is an experienced defender and he now joins his brother Ewan MacPherson on the Cowden playing roster.

Calum gave us his thoughts on his latest signing - "Greg is a fantastic addition to the club. He’ll give us great legs down the side and has been an integral part of a very successful Linlithgow Rose side in the past two seasons.

He’s someone I have tried to sign on a number of different occasions and I’m looking forward to working with him on what I’m hoping will be his most productive years as a player."

Greg also gave us his initial reaction after completing the paperwork - "Buzzing to sign for a massive club like Cowdenbeath as I’ve heard great things and I can’t wait to get started. Mon the coo!"
