MATCH PREVIEW - GALA FAIRYDEAN ROVERS (A)

PostedFebruary 24, 2024

For the second successive Saturday we are on the road as we head to Netherdale for a 3pm kick off.

Back in September the sides battled out a 2-2 draw at Central Park with Nicky Reid giving Gala the lead before Liam Watt put through his own goal.

Adam MacDonald then gave us the lead before Danny Galbraith grabbed a stoppage time equaliser when his shot took a deflection off Dougie Hill.

LAST TIME OUT

Last Saturday we beat Steven Swift’s Broomhill side at the Rock 1-0 courtesy of an early goal from Zac Butterworth which saw our first win of 2024.

THE OPPOSITION

We once again face another former Cowden player in the opposition dug out this time Martin “Jimmy” Scott, who is assisted by Steven Craig the son of former Cowden boss Joe.
