MATCH PREVIEW - UNIVERSITY OF STIRLING (H)

After two weeks on the road we return to Central Park with a 3pm kick off for our third game against University of Stirling in 2024.

The students won the two previous games both at Forthbank Stadium winning 4-2 in the Lowland League Cup and 2-1 in the league.

Ewan MacPherson returns to the squad after serving a two game suspension after being sent off against East Kilbride last month.


LAST TIME OUT

Daryl Healy bagged a first half brace last Saturday as we beat Gala Fairydean Rovers 2-1 at Netherdale.


THE OPPOSITION

UOS currently sit in eighth place in the league with 41 points from their 27 games played with 12 wins, five draws and ten defeats.

Their other 11 wins have come against Caledonian Braves (1-0), East Stirlingshire (3-2 & 1-0), Albion Rovers (1-0), Bo’ness United (3-1), Hearts B (1-0 & 2-1), Gretna 2008 (3-1), Broomhill (4-1) and Edinburgh University (4-1) and Civil Service Strollers (2-0).

The five draws came against East Kilbride (1-1), Berwick Rangers (2-2), Albion Rovers (2-2), Cumbernauld Colts (3-3) and Gretna 2008 (1-1).

Their ten defeats have come against Linlithgow Rose (1-3), Cumbernauld Colts (0-3), Tranent (1-2 & 1-2), Gala Fairydean Rovers (0-2), Celtic B (0-1), Civil Service Strollers (0-2) and East Kilbride (2-4), Berwick Rangers (0-2) and Linlithgow Rose (1-2).
