MATCH PREVIEW - LINLITHGOW ROSE (A)

For Stevie Crawford’s first game in charge we make the short trip over the River Forth to face Linlithgow Rose at Prestonfield with a 3pm kick off.

We have met the Rose at Central Park twice this season winning 2-1 in the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup, after extra time, and 1-1 in the Lowland League.


LAST TIME OUT

Calum Elliot’s time in charge of the side came to an end last Saturday with a 2-1 home defeat from East Stirlingshire with Aiden McLaughlin coming off the bench to get our goal.


THE OPPOSITION

Rose also went down 2-1 at home last Saturday losing to local rivals Bo’ness United which left them in eighth place in the Lowland League with 44 points from their 30 games, four points and three places ahead of us.

Their 12 league wins have come against University of Stirling (3-1 & 2-1), Gretna 2008 (9-2 & 5-0), Caledonian Braves (1-0 & 1-0), Gala Fairydean Rovers (5-0 & 6-1), Civil Service Strollers (2-0), East Stirlingshire (2-0), Broomhill (1-0) and Edinburgh University (5-1).

Their seven other draws have come against Edinburgh University (2-2),Hearts B (2-2), East Kilbride (2-2), Berwick Rangers (1-1), Bo’ness United (0-0) Celtic B (2-2) and Cumbernauld Colts (1-1).
