MATCH PREVIEW - GRETNA 2008 (H)

For our last home game of the season we welcome Gretna 2008 to Central Park with a 3pm kick off.

After two games on the road which have seen a win and defeat interim manager Stevie Crawford takes charge of the side for the first time at Central Park.


LAST TIME OUT

After having a two goal lead at the break we eventually went down 4-2 to Cumbernauld Colts at Broadwood Stadium last Saturday.


THE OPPOSITION

It is the start of a big week for Bryan Gilfillan’s side as they look to preserve their Lowland League status.

Sitting on 9 points from their 31 games the Anvils are just above relegation rivals Edinburgh University by one goal.

On Tuesday they face Civil Service Strollers at Christie Gillies Park before going head to head with the University at Raydale Park.

Meanwhile today the students head west to face Cumbernauld Colts at Broadwood Stadium.

Gretna have won 2 league games this season beating Civil Service Strollers (2-1) and Broomhill (1-0) both at Raydale Park. They have also had 3 draws against University of Stirling (1-1), Celtic B (3-3) and last Saturday against Gala Fairydean Rovers (0-0) also all at home.
