Club Statement - Danny Lennon

Cowdenbeath Football Club can confirm that Danny Lennon was appointed manager of St. Mirren Football Club on Tuesday afternoon after a satisfactory compensation package was agreed - the full value of the remainder of Danny's contract with a pre-season friendly between the clubs also agreed (this has been pencilled in for Saturday 17th July @Central Park)

The Club is extremely disappointed to lose the services of Danny Lennon who, in our opinion, is one of the best young managers in Scotland. Danny's achievements in his time at Central Park are second to none and he goes with our best wishes and sincere thanks. We wish Danny and St. Mirren all the best for the upcoming campaign.

The Club will now begin the process of appointing a new manager.
