Vacancy - Physiotherapist / Sports Therapist

Job Title: Part Time, Physio / Sports Therapist
Location: Primarily based at Central Park, Cowdenbeath
Hours: Tuesday & Thursday Evenings.Saturday Matchdays
Salary: Dependent on qualifications/experience

Cowdenbeath Football Club are looking to recruit a part-time Physiotherapist/Sports Therapist to provide medical services for its players. The Physiotherapist will work alongside the coaching staff and will develop and deliver injury prevention strategies, deliver rehab to injured players, and seek to help maximise player performance, enhance recovery and reduce the likelihood of injuries within the playing squad. The position may suit a student in their final year of study in the relevant discipline.


Key Roles & Responsibilities :

· Lead the Assessment & Treatment of Injuries

· To provide pitch side cover for all Cowdenbeath FC Home & Away fixtures

· Ensure all relevant Management and Coaching Staff are clearly communicated to on a regular basis with regards to all medical issues and injuries

· Oversee the development and implementation of prehab and rehab programmes

 

Desired Experience :

· Experience working pitch side / matchdays in sport

· Knowledge of sports specific strapping

· Sports First Aid Qualification

· Ideally has their own transport
