Parading Petrie

Cowdenbeath FC is pleased to announce the signing of 19-year-old centre back Harvey Petrie.

Harvey began his career with Stirling Albion before moving on to Livingston and then Blantyre Victoria, gaining valuable experience along the way.

He featured twice for the Blue Brazil as a trialist in the latter half of the 2024/25 season and impressed once again on Saturday, partnering Jack Denham in our 4-0 friendly win over Tynecastle.

Harvey stated "Delighted to put pen to paper. Looking forward to the challenge of the season ahead and excited to contribute to the team."

While manager Paul McLean commented "Really pleased to get Harvey on board. A player who trained with us towards the end of last season and one I knew from my Stirling days. He again fits the bill for what I’m looking for in centre halves - strong, quick and decent on the ball. He’s been patient waiting for an opportunity and I hope he takes the chance. He’ll provide good competition for Jack and Scotty."
