For the second time in four days, we head to North Lanarkshire to face Albion Rovers at Cliftonhill in the Park’s Motor Group Lowland League with a 3pm kick off.
Tuesday night’s 2-0 win in Cumbernauld, thanks to goals from Zack Tomany and Scott Cameron, saw us move up to fifth place in the table just behind Bonnyrigg on goal difference.
Rovers sit in 12th place although they are just three points behind us.
THE OPPOSITION
Like ourselves Rovers have made wholesale changes to their squad this season.
Rovers opened their season with a home 3-3 draw with Cumbernauld Colts which was quickly followed up by a 2-1 win over East Stirlingshire at Ochilview Park.
Their first defeat of the season came at Albyn Park when they went down 4-0 to Tranent at Foresters Park which was followed up with a home 2-1 win over Gala Fairydean Rovers. They then lost 3-2 at home to Broxburn Athletic but beat Gretna 2008 2-1 at Raydale Park.
A 5-2 defeat at Newtown Park against Bo’ness United followed before a 1-1 draw with Bonnyrigg Rose on Tuesday night at Ferguson Park.
In the South Challenge Cup they made a First Round Exit to Lanarkshire neighbours Thorniewood United 4-3 on penalties after a goal less game at Cliftonhill.
