Club Statement - Admission Prices

PostedOctober 29, 2010

Cowdenbeath Football Club is pleased to confirm that a consistent pricing structure will be implemented across both category A and B games with immediate effect.

A decision was made to charge 17 adult admission for games against Dunfermline Athletic, Raith Rovers, Dundee and Falkirk due to the increased policing costs for these games but, following feedback from supporters, it has been agreed that admission prices for all home games will now be 15 for adults, 8 for concessions and 20 for family (one adult plus one child).

“We made a decision to increase prices moderately for category A games due to the real and significant increased costs of policing these game", said Chairman Donald Findlay.

"All decisions that the Board takes are with the overarching principle of ensuring the long-term future of Cowdenbeath Football Club for the benefit of the supporters and local community. This is a balancing act and, having taken feedback from the supporters into account, we have reviewed the pricing policy and made the decision to have a consistent entry price for all games."
