Kyle Miller became the latest Academy star to feature for the first team this season as the talented midfielder shone in the 5-1 victory over Stirling Albion.

Lee Wilson (17) and Dean Brett (17) have also featured recently while Lewis Milne (16) made the bench earlier in the season. Academy graduates Scott Linton (21), Jon Robertson (21), Thomas O'Brien (19) and John Ferguson (19) are already establisded members of Jimmy Nicholl's first team squad while Dene Droudge (21) and Danny Mackay (19) could come back into contention in the new year as they make good progress with their comebacks from long-term injury.

The Cowden under 19s face Clyde in the 3rd round of the Scottish FA Youth Cup on Sunday afternoon. Get along to Central Park and catch a glimpse of some of the potential stars of the future. The game kicks off at 1pm.

The reserves are in action on Tuesday night (9th November) when they face Reserve League Cup East league leaders Livingston at Almondvale Field Turf (kick off 7.30pm). Colin Cameron's young side will be looking to build on their last outing when they triumphed 7-1 against East Stirlingshire.
