A disappointing second half performance handed Dunfermline Athletic the honours in the West Fife derby, played in front of a healthy 2100+ spectators.
The Blue Brazil held their own in the first half but slack marking allowed David Graham (47) to give the away side a quick fire lead before former Central Parker Liam Buchanan headed home the second on 69 minutes. A carbon copy goal from Graham increased the advantage and Andy Kirk wrapped up a deserved three points for the Pars six minutes from time.
Colin Cameron received the man of the match champagne from the match sponsors, Machray Metal Finishing.
On a brighter note, the new floodlight system was officially unveiled by Cowden legend Andy Rolland at the interval.
