The Blue Brazil kicked off the pre-season programme in some style this afternoon as new boss Colin Cameron's first game in charge ended with a 9-0 win over Spartans on the Ainslie Park fieldturf.
Goals from Mark Ramsay (12), Greg Stewart (19, 29), Jon Robertson (23) and a trialist (32) had the away side 5-0 up at the interval.
Cameron made a host of changes at half time with Youssef Bejaoui, Danny Mackay, Kyle Miller, Steven Bennett, Paul Byrne, Marck McKenzie, Lewis Coult and another trialist coming on.
Further 2nd half goals from the trialist no7, Lewis Coult and a Marc McKenzie double completed the rout.
Malcolm Gibson appeared in the 2nd half at right-back after paying for the privilege at an auction earlier in the year.
Thomas O'Brien missed the game due to a foot injury while John Armstrong is on holiday.
Next up is Tuesday's fixture against Hearts at Central Park.
