Toorie Testimonial News

A Craig Wiinter testimonial committee has been established by supporters and a number of events, including a testimonial game, will be held during the course of the season in order to honour a true club legend.

One event that has been confirmed is a 'This is Your Life' night at Wee Jimmies on Saturday 26th November (7.30pm). Tickets cost £5 and can be purchased from Stuart Juner - capacity is limited to 100! Keep an eye on the website and local press for details about further events.

'Toorie', who made his 398th appearance in the 2-1 win over Albion Rovers, first joined the Blue Brazil in 1994. The Cowden Hall of Fame inductee has won promotion twice with Cowden during two distinguished spells at Central Park. First in 2000/01 - scoring the winner in the promotion decider on the last game of the season against Brechin City - and again in 2009/10 after returning to Central Park in August 2009.
