Monday night saw our first defeat in the Reserve League Cup against an Accies side which notched up their fourth successive win at New Douglas Park.
One time Cowden youth player Paul Currie opened the scoring for the home side 11 minutes from the break and on the hour mark Grant Anderson doubled their advantage.
Three minutes later on loan Celt Greig Spence completed the scoring for the home side before sub Jack Nicholson grabbed a late consolation for us four minutes from time after a good build up from Coult and Miller.
