Academy update

18-year old central defender Peter Bradley has been put on stand-by for Northern Ireland's under 19 European championship squad for the game with Bosnia next month after impressing  for the Irish in a recently friendly in Malta earlier this month. Well done Pistol!

Academy fixtures this weekend:

• Cowdenbeath 16s v Queen of the South 16s, Rosyth @12pm
• Queens of the South 14s v Cowdenbeath 14s, Dumfries @1pm
• Stranraer 13s v Cowdenbeath 13s, Girvan @12pm

The under 19s game with Dundee this weekend has been postponed as the Dens Park side are unable to field a team due to illness - the game has provisionally been rescheduled for the 15th of October. The 19s next game will be on Thursday 1st October when they face Airdrie at the Airdrie Sports Centre @8pm after the fixture was brought forward from the Sunday.

Meanwhile, the under 19s will no longer play home games at Rosyth and will now play 19s fixtures at the home of Star Hearts.
