Colin Cameron received further good transfer window news after David Cowan agreed to extend his contract until the end of the season.
The manager added Derek Lyle and Liam Cusak to his squad last week and the deal to keep Cowan is hugely important. The 29-year old has been outstanding at right-back since signing on a short-term deal in September and his experience has helped the back four.
"I'm delighted to have extended my contract with Cowdenbeath until the end of the season," commented Cowan.
"I've been enjoying my time here so far and hope to continue to do so. I have great resepct for the manager, coaching staff, players and fans and hope we can continue winning games and go onto win the league."
Cameron added: "David has been a very important player this season and has played a big part in the number of clean sheets we have recorded. I'm delighted that David will be with us until at least the end of the season."
The Penrith-born player - who was on the verge of being selected for the Scotland under 21 side as a youngster thanks to a Scottish grandparent - has turned out for numerous Scottish sides since moving north to Motherwell from Newcastle United as a teenager. His former teams include Gretna, Ross County, Dundee and Livingston.
