Competition: Irn-Bru 1st Division Referee: Alan Muir
Venue: Tony Macaroni Arena Attendance: 1112

After our mid-week exploits in the Fife derby we were abruptly brought back down to Earth as three goals in a 17 minute period as Livingston ran out winners at the Braidwood Motor Company Stadium.
There was one enforced change to the side which had beaten Dunfermline with Kyle Miller taking over from Jon Robertson who had picked up an injury whilst training with parent club St Mirren.
Things however could have been different as in the third minute Linton fired in a free kick from the edge of the box which whistled past the post, had it gone in who knows what the outcome may have been.
As the home side took  a grip on the game they broke the deadlock after 27 minutes when Fox set up Iain Russell who held off a challenge before firing the ball past Flynn from an acute angle.
Twelve minutes later they doubled their advantage when Anthony Andreu worked a one-two with Russell and latched onto the latter’s cross to slot the ball home.
Things then got worse a minute from the break when a shot from former Cowden loanee Morton was parried by Flynn and Jesus Garcia Tena followed up to knock home the rebound.
The second half started with Colin Cameron reshuffling his side with Mbu and Stewart replacing O’Brien and Stewart.
It was a more steady ship in the second half and we had a few chances to reduce the deficit with Stewart sending a header just wide of target and later on the comeback man was once again denied with keeper McNeil scooping the ball after the frontman found got into a good position in front of goal.
